Activa Contracts Has Announced That They Have Promoted Two People

Activa Contracts, the vehicle fleet company, has announced that they have promoted two people and has taken on one graduate as part of a company wide expansion and development strategy. The Fleet services business has made two of its employees area managers after they have managed to complete Activa’s training and development scheme.

One of the employees, who has been promoted to the area manager position for the North East of England and will be based in Ilkley is Matthew Higgins. The other promotion was given to Peter Renson who will also be working as an area manager for the East Midlands and East Anglia sections of the business. Both Peter and Matthew have been praised for their drive and determination, therefore the promotion of the two employees highlights and rewards their hard work and talent.

As well as the new promotions for Matthew and Peter, Activa has announced that that have also taken on recent graduate Ben Hunt. Ben Hunt has begun his career in the motoring industry and started on the development training programme that is offered by the fleet company in May. Ben is carrying out his training it a franchised dealership, and hopefully will see the same steps up at the end of the training scheme.

Activa Contracts is centrally based in Milton Keynes. Activa is a division of Arnold Clark, who is known for being the largest independently owned motor group operating in Europe. The company prides itself on their development programme which has been an important part of the business strategy for Activa, and has placed a heavy focus on recruitment and promotion within the company.

Activa have also launched an apprenticeship programme. The programme has been successful so far, with three of the company’s employees achieving their NVQs in customer service only this year and another one thought to be qualified soon.
