Carrier Transicold Glasgow Has Been Managed to Come Out on Top at the Carrier Safe Awards

Carrier Transicold Glasgow has been managed to come out on top at the Carrier Safe awards 2017. This is the first time that the temperature controlled transportation provider and manager has been able to come number one at these awards. Carrier Transicold secured the top spot by managing to score 98% in the Carrier’s independant health and Safety programme.

Carrier Transicold operated across the UK as Carrier Transicold (UK) Limited and created the Carrier Safe awards scheme with the help of the Engineering Employers’ Federation. The Carrier Safe awards seeks to encourage and recognise a high level of environmental, health and safety standards across the company’s network. The temperature controlled Transport solutions provider operates from 22 key areas around the UK and each year the network service partners are audited every year. The location with the highest score is rewarded with the chance to carry out further training that is carried out by the EEF.

In joint second, with a score of 95% Carrier Transicold Ipswich and Manchester service centres came second to Glasgow. The score that is given to each location is derived from a 172-point independent judging criteria. This criteria allows the network service partners of Carrier Transicold constantly monitor and evaluate their performance in order to flag up any areas that could be improved in a bid to constantly improve performance. It is therefore a credit to the Glasgow section of Carrier Transicold to score 98% on such a thorough judging system.

Carrier Transicold, the manufacturer of advanced and environmentally friendly temperature controlled solutions have said that safety is of vital importance, and it is great that the Carrier Safe awards demonstrates the comprehensive safety code that is followed by the company’s team of skilled engineers. Across the entire network of locations, Carrier Transicold scored an average of 92% this year.
