MAN Truck & Bus UK Celebrate Apprentice Graduations

The leading manufacturing company, MAN Truck & Bus UK has been celebrating the success that has been achieved by their young high-flyers with an awards ceremony. The former contestant of the BBC’s The Apprentice, Claire Young attended the event in order to speak about her experience on the popular TV show as well as her career on a wider scale.

The annual awards ceremony held by the manufacturer is seen as a major date in the MAN Truck & Bus UK corporate calendar. The event involves over 200 apprentices and honoured guests and also includes the representatives of The Outward Bound Trust and the S&B Automotive Academy. These representatives were on hand to acknowledge their continuous commitment to the vehicle manufacturer and their Truck and Service Centres.

The Apprentices working for the vehicle manufacturer spend their time learning and practicing their skills at the S&BAA state-of-the-art CV workshop and training facility, located in Bristol. The Apprentice Awards is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the talent and progress of their younger workers, who have the potential to develop and progress through the company to management, supervisors and even the managing directors of the industry in the future.

Paul O’Cain, the head of UK service for MAN Truck & Bus has said that the graduates from this apprentice scheme have now reached a vital point in their careers. The graduated apprentices have the skills, qualifications and experience necessary to enable them to grow and develop throughout their career. The manufacturing company are looking to retain the best people and are dedicated to train and offering career opportunities that will offer rewards to talented people. As well as the individual achievement awards all those who have completed their MAN apprentices were handed their graduation certificates at the event which took place at The Mere Resort in Knutsford.
