Phoenix Brands Moves to new Factory

Phoenix Brands Moves to new Factory

Phoenix Brands, the Biscuit manufacturer has announced that they will be investing £1.5 million in a new factory. The company will be moving from their current headquarters in Bilston to their 2,787㎡ new factory. It is thought that the move to the new location will be completed by the end of the year.

By moving into larger premises in Monmore Park industrial estate, Phoenix Brands will be better equipped to meet the increased demand. The new site will also allow for the biscuit manufacturer to improve their levels of production as well as delivering a better working environment and more flexibility because all staff and operations will be under one roof.

The investment into the new facility will also deliver a new and bespoke baking and processing line featuring the latest technology. The new product will also support the company’s plans to increase their levels of production, and boost expansion plans with the development of new products. The new processing line will also help to improve the service offered to Phoenix Biscuits.

The main part of the £1.5 million investment will be put into the new production line, which will see £1 million invested in its creation. The new equipment and location at Monmore Park is well suited to the biscuit company, and with the new machinery, Phoenix Brands is better prepared to manage the challenges their customers present them.

The company had outgrown their current site, and have selected to move to Monmore Park as it better suited their requirements. The company was first established in 1988 and works to produce biscuit and crumb products to be used in the food industry. Phoenix Brands has built up a good reputation over the years and currently employs 30 people. It is thought, with the move to the new factory in Wolverhampton will offer the potential to take on 10 more members of staff.
