Digital Manufacturing Week will be taking place on the 15th and 16th November. It has been revealed that this year’s event will be significant, as there are already a record number of visitors registered to attend. The event will be held at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool.
The Digital Manufacturing Week is seen as the biggest and boldest showcase in the UK of the Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies on the market at the moment. This year, the event will come to the UK’s largest manufacturing region, Liverpool City.
The record breaking event will be delivered this year in partnership with industry and world-class solutions providers. At the showcase, those who attend will see the latest opportunities and technologies that are available in the industry as well as have the opportunity to network with nearly 4,000 of their peers. Attendees will also have the chance to connect with thought leaders and global experts in order to generate a range of valuable connections as well as collaborative opportunities.
There has been an increase in business confidence in regards to the fourth industrial revolution and this is clearly demonstrated by the level of interest that has been displayed for Digital Manufacturing Week. There has been particular interest in the areas concerning Industrial Automation, Big Data and the Industrial Internet.
It has been revealed that 3,529 people have registered to visit the show, which demonstrates the interest in digital advancement and innovation for the manufacturing industry. It is thought that 2-017 has been a great year for manufacturing in the UK, clearly demonstrated by the increase in output seen by the industry over the course of the last six months in a row. This increase in output in UK manufacturing has not happened in this industry for the last 23 years. Hopefully this success will continue for the foreseeable future.
