Tool Maker to Double the Size of Its Business

A Birmingham-based tools, workstations and personal protective equipment (PPE) maker is looking to increase its UK headcount by about 10 per cent; a move that is part of its plan to double the size of the business by 2023.

Hoffmann Group UK is aiming to bolster the number of experts available to advise and consult with clients. Specifically, the business is increasing technical expertise, introducing dedicated support for large national accounts and additional specialised resource to support services such as inventory management, calibration and repairs.

The reorganisation also sees Peter Borrowdale, who joined the business last year, being appointed as national sales manager.

Hoffmann Group UK is also actively recruiting for field and office based roles, creating a number of additional jobs over the coming months.

As a result of the reorganisation, Hoffmann Group UK also has plans in place to double the size of the business by 2023, through more effectively delivering a broad range of services designed to help customers reduce costs and increase productivity.

The company said that would be achieved by increasing focus on key product offerings such as PPE, tool vending products and workshop tools, as well as boosting its product range and customer base.
