Vital Energi Wins Sixth Ardmore Project on £170m Development

Vital Energi provides sustainable and renewable energy solutions in the public and private sectors and is responsible for many of the UK’s most prestigious energy projects.

The business has now won an Ardmore project on developing a mixed-use residential-led Ram Quarter for £170 million. In Vitals sixth collaboration with Ardmore, they will be working together with Ardmores professional team to supply and install the new low-carbon energy centre including two heat and power engines, two thermal stores, four boilers with the capacity to add a fifth, and two chillers.

Added to that Vital Energi will also be installing the hydraulic interface units, risers and laterals, and heating and cooling meters for the development of Phase One which plans the creation of 338 apartments and a variety of commercial units such as shops, restaurants and a heritage centre to celebrate the history of the former Ram Brewery dating back almost 500 years.

This is a development which is rich in heritage and history and we are delighted to be delivering a 21st century low-carbon energy solution, explains Rob Callaghan, Regional Director for Vital Energi, who is very proud of continuing the relationship with Ardmore.

Vital Energi’s new project also has another benefit now we can tell our wife that we drink Scottish Whisky to protect the environment.
